When folk met rock - the saga 💫

 

If you are fond - as I am - of Steeleye Span, Pentangle, Fairport Convention, Traffic… yes, Genesis, too, and all the other phantasmagorical ‘70s English groups which swapped their acoustic guitars for a Fender Telecaster or a Gibson Les Paul, well: you must read this book.

It’s a compendium to the sought after ‘70s box-set on Transatlantic label (I bought it as soon as it was issued, also if I was already into this great music, for the superb booklet) which summarized the history of this (r)evolution.

Worth reading while listening to some of the immortal songs and groups extensively covered in the book.
