This disk masterfully and impeccably shows and captures all the title steps… 

Norman’s playing is still ultra-precise, just a tad slower, probably more for the chosen tunes… he choose for decades, now, smaller bodied Martin’s’ - i.e. 00-45 - instead of the cannon-like vintage D18 with 060-016 strings which required a considerable strength to be picked and fingered… now his playing is so mellow and antique yet timeless… his voice is and remains unique and fascinating, a little trembling and not perfectly to-pitch, BUT… music shines to its beauty, more and more like when Sulphur’s Springs maven was in this forties 💫
