Soundcraft Magnetic reel to reel🥇

 

It is a 2-track studio recorder designed and built in two handfuls of units by Soundcraft Magnetics from about 1984 to 1985. The first batch was supposed to consist of about 30 specimens, but some economic difficulties of the parent company and the rapid evolution of the market meant that the project was aborted with the consequent scrapping of all the pieces still to be assembled. Only a few specimens have survived which were tested in some studies around the world and this specimen in plexiglas, specially designed for display at sector fairs.
