ECM - What happened to Steve Eliovson?
After a seminal, one of a kind solo album for ECM in early '80s, "Dawn Dance" paired with the late, heavily missed Colin Walcott, the man… just disappeared…
The disappearing musician is almost a cliche'… mind goes to Mike Ratledge of Soft Machine… but the list is longer…
Anyway, thanking a cool Blog… voila', here are fresh news about Steve… and everything got abruptly interrupted due to a broken leg, while skiing in the Alps, shortly after the first ECM's wages, I argue…
Thanking God, as shit happens, the man is alive and still playing or so… and the album is still available, so, please do you a favor: just go, surf the net and buy it… it's marvelous music and recording… namely my very first exposure to a nose breathing from a recording… say transparency.
